This turned out amazing! I followed the recipe exactly and even sprinkled some extra cinnamon. I opted for butter instead of oil. Don’t let the vanilla ice cream be optional!

I made this for Sunday lunch. I followed the recipe exactly. Unfortunately, Not my favorite, as it turned out more like a crisp to be spooned over ice cream. With only baking soda, it does not rise, so there is no cake-like parts. It is more like a streusel topping. Not bad, just not what I was looking for in a cobbler that can be with ice cream or a stand alone. Not sure that I will make it again, as I also have a crisp/crumble recipe that is better.
