Ginger, basil & mint give this peach sangria recipe a delicious herbal kick. Cold & refreshing, it's just the thing for hot summer days.
Happy Friday! I have the easiest, summeriest cocktail to share with you: peach sangria!
This weekend, it’s going to be 102 degrees(!) here in Austin. Because hot summer days call for cold, refreshing drinks, I decided to come up with a new summer party drink recipe. I figure everyone loves sangria, so I thought – what would be more seasonal than peach sangria? Now one of my favorite sangria recipes, this drink is sweet, but not too sweet, and packed full of fruit and herbs.
Peach Sangria Recipe Ingredients
The base is simple: white wine, Grand Marnier, and fresh peaches. I also added a splash of ginger juice and a handful of mint and basil for an herby kick, but feel free to omit them for a more traditional peach sangria.
While I used yellow peaches, you could swap them for white peaches or add sliced apples, oranges, or strawberries for an extra-fruity twist.
How to Make Peach Sangria
Mix the ingredients in a large pitcher, and let it chill for at least a few hours (or overnight). It gets more peachy and herbaceous the longer it sits. When you’re ready to serve, pour into glasses and serve over ice. Cheers!
If you love this peach sangria recipe…
Try my classic margarita, watermelon margarita, mint julep, paloma, or hot toddy next!
Peach Sangria

- Splash of ginger juice (or a bit of freshly grated ginger) (optional)
- 1 lemon or lime, sliced
- Handful of mint and/or basil

It truly reflects the summer vibes! Worth a try soon
I found myself with 20 pounds of peaches and knew I needed to have some friends over for pizza and sangria (both featuring peaches of course)! This recipe was such a breeze to make and really highlighted the fresh, ripe peaches. Thanks for sharing!

Having a very heavy hand, I chuckled when I read your note about toning down the alcohol. We have never thought to add basil to a cocktail but I borrowed your idea, and it was delicious. Just though I would stop by to share. Have a great week.
What a lovely white sangria! I’m loving the picture with the wooden spoon sloshing around all the goodness! Mmmmmm, I would use a big swig of that!
🙂 Pinned!
ha, thanks 🙂 Didn’t quite have a utensil long enough to fit in that carafe!
I can’t wait till it is summer here in Australia so I can try this! (or maybe I won’t wait) YUM! Thanks for sharing Liz x
I’ll have to grab some peaches from the market and save this one for next weekend! Looks amazing!
OH MY GOSH! Can I please have a glass of that? Looks amazing!
